My position as Head of Industry Relations focused on overseeing business development for Trulia’s industry team including Broker, Franchise and MLS engagement. I also worked closely with the Trulia product development staff to provide insight on new and innovative products to provide value to Trulia clients, both agent and broker. Details of my position included: * Managing team of 15 individuals over 3 different departments including MLS, Broker and Industry Marketing. Oversaw team forecasting, budgeting and revenue goals. * Consulted with business development unit to secure partnerships with industry vendors to vet potential M/A opportunities and open agent access channels of partner clients. * Assisted in new client acquisition (Broker, Franchise, MLS) through different channels to further revenue and listing database growth. * Worked directly with data team to increase accuracy and coverage of listing database by adding broker direct, MLS direct and data providers (ListHub, Point2). * Maintained relationships with vendors, brokers and MLSs via PR, marketing, outreach and industry speaking opportunities. * Advised on new product development, existing product enhancements (UI, UX, Mobile, etc.).
